Annual Church Meeting

The annual meeting for the church looking back on last year and looking ahead.

Our vicar Daniel writes, "I’m hoping you will be up for having a discussion during the meetings because I want to hear from you all. I’m going to urge us to work together on the first priority from our Plan for Growth: ‘being listeners—learning Jesus’s words of life’. Don’t worry—you won’t be forced to say anything in front of everyone and I’m not wanting to embarrass anyone. You could consider these questions beforehand, if you want to:

Jesus taught that each part of the Bible teaches us to know him better (e.g. Luke 24:27). Which parts of the Bible are you familiar with and can see how they grow our relationship with Jesus? Which bits less so?

Are there any big questions you would like to know the Bible’s answer to? Or any topics you would like to think about in a group?
